Suburban 'Collet Master' 5-C Collet Fixture with Wooden Storage Case

A Fellow I have known for many years has recently decided to down size his machine shop. He had accumulated multiples of much of his tooling so as he sorts through it, any duplicate and/or no longer needed tooling will be released for disposition. Offered here is a Suburban 'Collet Master' 5-C Collet Fixture. The collet indexer comes with the original wooden storage case, as shown in the pictures. I am not really familiar with these indexing fixtures and here is my assessment, as accurately as I can provide.
The spindle turns smoothly as it should. When I removed the collet and then replaced it in the spindle I had trouble aligning the collet correctly with the locating key (the collet seems tight in the spindle). I am not sure if the spindle needs to be polished out or if I am doing something incorrectly. This has been sitting on a shelf not being used for a while so maybe a cleaning and lubrication might help. In any case, considering replacement cost this should be worth someone's time and effort to put a little TLC into it.
Aside from this issue the fixture shows the normal signs of use and appears to be in good condition. Sale is final so please ask any questions that you might have. Thanks
